Puppies!!!!
Nerves. That's what I am a bundle of nerves. It's gotten to the point that I wish that my kidneys were like dentures. I could just pop them out and put them in a glass then chuck 'em back in after a solid nights sleep. (sorry to those who are visualizing this last little bit of writing)
The other reason I'm on edge is that I have a really good possiblity of getting a dog. A rather ridiculously small dog but a dog nontheless. Things are a little lonely for me during the day since I'm not well enough to work and people aren't home that often around here. I get socialized in the evening to prevent me from losing all of my language skills. I hate going for walks on my own during the day and would love something with a heart beat to come with me. Dad had suggested taking the cat to cure my need. Needless to say I ignored him. So helpful he is.
So this weekend off I'll go to a breeder of Papillon dogs to look at two adults this breeder has for adoption. Whitney is one and Layla is the other. I think they weigh maybe 8lbs on a good day and are both black and white. (start laughing now.) I'll have to see what each dog is like and make a decesion.
For me it's terribly exciting, for others it's about as exciting as watching paint dry. But I haven't been this pumped in awhile.

puppies are always exciting, even when they're "one-kick" dogs like the ones you described. :)
I'm sorry you're still not feeling well, Dee.... what do the doctors say???
well, I say I miss you and love you. Can't wait to see you again.
My dad tried to walk our cat once since he said it was getting too fat. So, he put the cat on a leash and walked out the front door. At first the cat was excited to be outside, but that quickly wore off once they were on the front porch. My dad basically dragged her around the yard for a bout 2 minutes and then gave up. It was QUITE hilarious :). On a random note, I once saw a guy walking a massive lizzard on the beach, now THAT was weird.
Love you Dee dee, feel better!
