okay, there's this guy...and no, it's not a guy I have a crush on. It's this guy who works at the Avondale around the corner from my house. ( for those who don't live in the Niagara region it's a local corner store chain) I like to buy Ben and Jerry's ice cream from him on emotional days. Lately I've been finding excuses to go into see him because I find him intriguing. So you think it is this absolutely handsome man with stunning intellect? Heck no. This guy has an erie resembelence to yes you guessed it...Vizzini from the Princess Bride. The man who challenges Westley to a battle of wits? Yes the very same. Mind you, it isn't the actor Wallace Shawn who actually works at Avondale. It is a coincidence this man looks and sounds the same. I enjoy him immensely and have used him as a source of enteratinment. Perhpas I am using him but I enjoy when he says how much change he has for me in his nasal tone. Perhaps I will challenge him to a battle of wits one day.
Bizarre fact of the day. Did you know that Vizzini is a town in Sicily? So it's true never go up against a Sicilian in a battle of wits.
