Singledomnesish

Due to another blog I read recently it had me reflecting on single living. To tell the truth I truly do like it...Although the following reasons are good ones for having a boyfriend:

1. They provide body warmth
2. They provide sweaters when body warmth doesn't cut it.
3. Gifts
4. An automatic escort to weddings and other functions were arm candy is necessary
5. Someone to cuddle with
6.They keep you from people asking if you're still single. ( only applies when you are older then 21 and live in Christian community. They think you should be at least looking at marriage in the next few years. Therefore get on it hussy, you ain't getting any younger!)

These seem like pretty good reasons. But I'm afraid that these haven't enticed me to push foward into the world of men anytime soon. I like being friends. I'm really good at it. I'm terrible at being a girlfriend. Unless for some reason you like having your ego deflated and being physically attacked since I don't understand that men are mostly stronger then me. grrrrr.

But in all seriouness singledomenesish is a good place to be. You get to work on being a great person and spending time with many people. You also have a clear head to work out life before you go loopy with love. And when that time theif of a significant other comes along you'll be the better for it. You'll also get to spend the rest of your life with them. Plenty of time to catch up on each other's adventures you had before you met.

And you don't have to worry about hygeine once you get married. You can be ol' smelly poo but they are stuck with ya until death. That's a plus. Us singles got to look good and smell good at all times in order to play that oh so competitive field. While all the marrieds get to wear sweat pants and allow BBQ sauce stain their t-shirts. What a life to look forward to.

I likes the men...well...only one man really..lol...but I understand the single thing...it feels really independent too, not to need someone else. But the good thing about having someone is...well hey, everyone else is making a blog out of it...i'll just tell ya on mine in a couple of days :)
